  My partner and 4 year old son stayed at the Villas at Poipu Kai for 6 glorious days in January and had an absolutely fantastic time! We stayed in a Garden Villa, and it more than met our every expectation: very clean, very well furnished, lots of room for all three of us to spread out. We especially appreciated the full kitchen, great appliances and very well stocked with all the utensils and pots you would ever need (even tupperware!).
  As for the location, it was great! Just a short, easy and beautiful walk down to the amazing beach at Poipu.
  Our son had a wonderful time at the kid's beach!
  Did I mention that the Villas at Poipu Kai have a huge room full of everything you would need at the beach for you to use during your stay? Beach umbrella, boogie board, rolling cooler, kids beach toys, flippers and snorkel gear - and we rolled down to the water each morning and stayed all day!
  We are already planning our next trip!

  We had a wonderful time and found the accommodations great. The only suggestion I have would be to equip the kitchen a little better. Things like knives, peelers, serving plates etc. left a little to be desired. Otherwise, we loved it!

  Apart from the fact that the garbage disposal did not work, the unit was fantastic. The maintenance people fixed the garbage disposal after our second call. We found the unit to be extremely well furnished and every possible item we needed was there especially beach chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, etc. The unit was exceptionally clean and well kept. We had a terrific vacation.

  The only issue we had was that the unit above had a small child and we could hear everything from the unit, there is no insulation between units, this did not allow us to sleep in on any day. We did love the unit and would stay there again, maybe renters with children should only be on the main level units so you won't hear them running up and down the hallway.

  Wonderful, luxurious condo. Very clean, good pool, nice that they have all the beach equipment you need. However, I was told by the mgt that the beach was withing walking distance, and it really wasn't. But it was only a short drive away so it ended up
  being fine.

  Our condo was everything we hoped it would be and more. Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The location is wonderful. There are 2 excellent beaches just a few minutes away by car. Shopping and restaraunts are close by and fantastic. I highly recommend this property to everyone. I can't wait to return again next year!

  beautifully decorated villas, not to far from beach. ground floor villas hear noise from top villas (furniture across floors, footsteps etc). saw few staff around compound. BBQ's were great as well as supplies to borrow for pool and beach. keyless entry great for families, but key for pool had some issues (need more than one per villa)

  Loved how close we were to the beach. Brenneke and the Hyatt are just short walks away. The condo is beautifully equipped and was very comfortable for our family of four. You can definitely hear your upstairs neighbours, but we didn't find it unpleasant.

  We arrived late (after midnight) due to a delayed plane and were thrilled with the ease of check-in - lights were on to welcome us and the code made entry easy. The condo was lovely and a great size for our family. The only issue was sound from upstairs. Every footstep was heard. The chairs in our oondo and theirs were very loud when moved. Some kind of soundproofing would be a great addition.
  Poipui beach is wonderful for swimming, snorkeling, seeing sea turtles, and watching the monk seals. It was a great trip.

  Beautiful property with updated furniture and appliances. Loved the master bath. Very helpful management staff. Loved that they provided umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, beach chairs, towels free of charge. Property is located a couple minutes walk from the beach on a greenbelt, which isn't a big deal, except that it's at the top of a hill. Can be a tough walk going back to the condo from the beach. I also prefer a beachfront pool. The Villas pool was nice but I only used it once because it just seemed kind of isolated.

  Kauai Honeymoon

  This is my third time to The Villas at Poipu Kai and my wife's second. We had an incredible honeymoon on Kauai and much of that is due to the beautiful place we stayed.

  We loved our stay once the folks upstairs checked out! We wondered why the management allowed so many families to jam into that unit, which presumably slept 6, not the 10 they crammed in. Heavy drinkers, kids out of control. But our unit was beautiful, great kitchen. Wonderful being able to walk to the beach and unit came with beach towels, chairs and beach toys. Cant beat that. Would stay there again in a heartbeat

  Loved the villa, superb inside. Convenient but a bit further
  from the beach than I would have like. Sara and Anne were
  wonderful and accomodating. Only drawback was noise from movement upstairs, we were on the first level.
  Beautiful grounds and pools. Easy and great snorkeling on

  The property itself was awesome ! When we had a little maintenance issue the reporting process was a bit cumbersome, but once we got a hold of the property manager it was fixed immediately. We thought the beach was a bit closet but a very beautiful stroll on this well maintained propery made the 10-15 min walk very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this propery to anyone that has never been to the south shore ! We plan on returning that is for sure !

  Very convenient for our purposes, clean, quiet, and the staff (esp. Sara and Todd) was helpful when we needed an adjustment for the wireless internet and to get something printed. I would definitely choose to come back when the opportunity presents itself.
