    If you are planning a visit to Poipu Kauai and want a less expensive alternative to the hotel scene, the Villas at Poipu Kai should be at the top of your list. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit provided all the amenities of home. It was clean, spacious, conveniently located to grocery shopping, close to a pool, beach accessible, and is one of the few condo complexes offering air conditioning. There are no hidden fees and all the guidelines for occupancy are clearly explained before booking. The only shortcoming with the condo is the 10am checkout. The management graciously accommodated our needs. However, if you have a late flight on your day departure and another unit is unavailable just for hanging out, it could turn out to be a logistical nightmare for you. Address that detail before making your reservation. That aside, you won't go wrong staying at The Regency Villas when visiting Poipu Kauai.

    Excellent condo facilities. Very clean and spacious for our families. Kitchen well -equipped, but I knocked rating down one star because of poor quality knives and small cutting boards which made group cooking more cumbersome. Highly recommended!

    The unit was immaculate, bright, airy, well laid out, wonderfully equipped, and located right in the heart of Poipu point. The kitchen was terrific, the master bedroom shower was so good we took notes and hope someday to recreate it back home. The management staff took great care of us before we got there by answering all sorts of questions on what to do and which tour operators they recommend.
    If I had to offer up any criticism at all it would be that the parking lot is a little tight, though each unit has its own reserved spot.

    Lauren the property manager was beyond good. Our family has rental properties out of state and we would die to get someone of her caliber. Always warm, genuine and totally on it, whatever the situation. I took photos to show people when I rave about the place and urge people to go. Look for Jennifer Delson of Long Beach in the future!

    Overall,great place. 5-10min walk to the beach. Poipu beach has the best swimming on the island, as the water is almost always calm. Many other beaches had high surf.
    Condo was very clean.
    Only minus, it was rather sparsely stocked. Only one roll of papertowel, no laundary or dishwasher detergent supplies. No cooking utensil for nonstick pan. No sugar. No tea bags.
    So definitely need to go to the store and stock up on some of the basics. That is a minor thing though, just need to be prepared.

    Wow! You never know when you are booking a place over the internet, but we were so very happy with the outcome! This is our 3rd trip to the island, but the first time in a condo. It looked just like in the pictures on their website. We loved that there was a grill right outside our door. It was a very short walk to the pool (which we loved also!!!). We really liked the location because you could go either way on the Greenbelt Walkway and get to eating and beaches! The only downside of being on the first floor of a condo was the noise above. If it is just adults - no big deal. But the 2 weeks we stayed we had children above running and rolling balls early in the morning and evening on tile floor. No other complaints - we loved it! We hope to be back very soon and we would choose the villas again in a second! Thanks to Ann, Mimi, Sally, Sarah, Lauren, and Kara for helping make our vacation so great!

    Had a great stay. Had to have the cleaning people come is as unit was not very clean. No problem as it was dust more than anything. Had a little trouble getting our Bar B Que gas bottle refilled but it worked out. Great location. pool was handy and the unit really had everything we needed. We look foreward to our next trip. Your booking staff and the people we communicated were the best.

    A Stay In Paradise

    Our vacation to Kauai was literally a week residing in paradise. We stayed 7 days and nights, but would have been much happier if we had vacationed there for a month. If we could figure out a way to live there, we would.

    The management was great to work with and provided exceptional customer service.

    The condo accommodations were immaculate and so conveniently located. We walked down to the beach every night to watch the sunset. After a day in the ocean, it was wonderful to go back to the poolside hot tub and relax.

    We fell in love with the property site as well as the rest of the island and I would recommend the same vacation to all my friends and family.

    These are the newest condos on the island and they're beautiful and most important to me clean. They are 5-6 minute walk to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck beach. I would highly recommend if you're looking for peace and quiet and not a huge hotel experience.

    Excellent location. Host was extremly helpful, condo was very roomy with beautiful amenities. Loved the location and the pool was great! 3 areas for improvement, (1)master bath shower needed mold to be cleaned from tile; (2)2nd bedroom had 2 twns put together as a king, but physical set up of bed platform was not suitable creting a gap / cave in withn the center of bed- very uncomfortable(3) Upstairs had little children and were very loud at all hours,running and pounding on floor. Overall we had a very plesant stay.

    With the exception of noisy neighbors upstairs, the condo was great - very clean and comfortable. Everything was very enjoyable. The kids enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. We’d definitely recommend staying here to others. Our unit was a short walk to the beach, however, far enough to not hear the waves (the only thing I'd want to change about the stay).

    This was an awesome trip and it was only great because the Villas at Poipu Kai condo was PERFECT!! Thanks to the management (ANN)!! We loved it! We will definately stay here again.
